The price for good quality flower from an approved dispensary can be very steep when compared to the black market. A 1/8 of high-quality bud usually ranges between $40 and $50 with some even as high as $60. Some dispensaries came out with a more affordable option giving you an 1/8 that can range between $23 to $33. According to the MMTC’s, it’s the same high-quality bud but just smaller. Every dispensary has come up with different unique names for this option like Minis or Little’s. Some patients are criticizing the quality while most are loving it. They only issue is actually the availability since most are sold just a few hours after hitting the shelves.

Love the site, thanks for all the excellent information.
Thank you for the info! However the prices in Florida vs Pennsylvania are way off some how?? 3.5 is no less then $50 for all strains an goes up from there. Very disappointing for my medical needs
Some timew worth it sometimes not. Small buds lose terpenes faster and have less THC and terpenes. For example $35 is 70% of $50 so you are paying the same per THC gram if the potency is 30% lower. The terpene losses are the lowest on large dense buds. That said I have had littles that were very close to the big buds in potency nd smell, and then littles that were wispy buds. If they have a 20% on one grow and a 16% on another they should give 20% discounts if it is the SAME strain. There is risk and also potential savings. Grow healthy is pretty good on kittles, ~1/5 is a disappointment. In an erbal vaporizer the vapor temp is limited by terpenes and cannabinoids who evaporate and take heat from the surrounding gases. When potency goes low(~12%) it can be a really harsh(hot) vapor so potency effects the heat of the vapor, not so much the buzz as you can always vap more. In a joint its bad, as combustion of terpenes is prevalent so you arnt getting as much terpene vapor, and the low terpene/potency cannabis can be very harsh due to high smoke temperatures. This is all basically thermodynamics. Controlling the vapor temp is easier with bud that has 15%+ TC and a good levels of terpenes. Yes taste also improves, but the harshness of vapor/smoke is mostly due to high temperature. Its not the size of the bud that matters, its having terpenes and a decent amount of cannabinoids in the vapor to keep the smoke/vapor. And this will affect dosing if you cant inhale comfortably.
